BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont Catamounts host Hofstra on Sunday at 12 p.m. in the first game of a soccer doubleheader at Virtue Field. The UVM women face Dartmouth at 3:30 p.m.
Both games will be streamed online for free in HD via
CatamounTV.com and tickets can be purchased one hour before kickoff at the Gutterson Fieldhouse Box Office.
Vermont stands at 5-1 on the season and the No. 1 team in the NSCAA East Region Poll. UVM is also receiving votes in two national polls for the third straight week.

CollegeSoccerNews.com Top 30 National Poll The Catamounts are coming off a 1-1 weekend at the "Soccer for a Cure" Classic at UAB. Vermont, playing with 10 men, fell to the hosts 4-1, but bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Jacksonville to close out the tournament.
Sophomore
Brian Wright leads the team in scoring with five goals through six games, nearly matching his scoring total from all of 2013. Wright ranks sixth nationally in total points and total goals and as a team, UVM ranks 11 in total goals and 21 in scoring offense.
Hofstra enters Sunday's match with a 2-3-2 record and has dropped back-to-back games, falling 2-1 against Dartmouth and 3-2 at New Hampshire on Friday. Three players have scored two goals each, but Joseph Holland leads the team in scoring with nine points and has a team-leading five assists.
Vermont is 5-4-1 in the all-time series against Hofstra, including a 2-1 win in Burlington in 2013. The series dates to 1995 when both schools were members of the North Atlantic Conference and later in the America East. Vermont has won four of the last five meetings, including each of the last two seasons.
