    "Everyday Activism"

    Hear Dr. Hill address the different ways to be an activist, drawing upon examples from her critically acclaimed work, A Bound Woman is a Dangerous Thing, as well as reflect upon your own understandings and experiences of activism.

Dr. DaMaris Hill is a writer and scholar whose published works also include The Fluid Boundaries of Suffrage and Jim Crow: Staking Claims in the American Heartland and Vi-zə-bəl\   \Teks-chərs\(Visible Textures). Similar to her creative process, Dr. Hill’s scholarly research is interdisciplinary and she is on the faculty at the University of Kentucky as Associate Professor of Creative Writing.
