NEQTPOCC's mission is to foster an environment of unity, empowerment, visibility, and validation for Queer and Trans People of Color in the Northeast region of the United States. Our goal is to provide multiple spaces and means to have conversations that are complicated, nuanced, contradictory, and messy in the most intentional authentic ways possible through centering the voices and knowledge of those most marginalized in our communities.
Our theme for this year's conference is: Alive in Ancestry: We Existed, Are Existing, and Will Continue to Exist.
The conference will include a number of workshops, presentation sessions, and keynotes that speak to that theme as well as intentional opportunities for social community building and networking for attendees. If you are interested in submitting a workshop/presentation for #NEQTPOC2020, please use this form to submit your proposal:

If you need assistance finding housing, please reach out. We are currently working on coordinating possible off-campus housing and ride shares, and will be in touch closer to the conference dates if either become available. More information to come.
Some meals (dinner on first day and lunch on second day) may be provided on-site during the conference. We will communicate with you regarding the tentative schedule and options for meals.
*Note: If you need disability accommodations, ASL and/or other language interpretation, please pre-register by Sunday, March 1st at 11:59pm! This allows us as much time as possible to organize accommodations and interpretation services to make the conference as accessible to you as possible! If you register after the pre-registration date, we will do everything we can to meet your needs, but please know that this may limit our abilities to meet some needs. Please reach out at
neqtpoc@gmail.com with any accessibility and interpretation questions/needs!*
