Ready to Pursue a Fully-Funded Graduate Degree in Special Education?

UVM's new Cultivating Collaborative and Resilience-Oriented Practices in Special educators (C-CROPS) Scholarship provides full tuition and innovative programming to earn special education teacher licensure (grades K-8 or 7-12) and a targeted Microcertificate of Graduate Study. C-CROPS scholars gain specialized knowledge and skills effectively serve students with high intensity social-emotional-behavioral needs in Vermont's rurally isolated and urban communities.

C-CROPS involves three strands:

  • UVM's CAEP-accredited online graduate coursework culminating in a Master of Special Education (M.Ed.) degree with recommendation for special education licensure in Vermont.
  • Additional certificate specializing in evidence-based, trauma-informed, collaborative, and resilience-oriented practices.
  • Induction programming focused on collective wellness and relational competence.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs, C-CROPS pays full tuition for UVM coursework, attendance at the Annual Wellness Event (held in Vermont during June each summer), and an online induction seminar during the student teaching internship.
