Fishing Workshop
Come to Plattsburgh, NY, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 5 PM to learn about local fishing regulations, water safety, and the basics of how to fish in a hands-on session. Participants will receive a free fishing pole, personal flotation device and fishing license (for those ages 16 and older). All participants must be residents of the State of New York. Those who rely on fishing for food and recent immigrants to the US are encouraged to participate. Participation is capped at 20 people.

Please be advised that Lake Champlain Sea Grant staff will be in touch with registrants to confirm and provide additional details. These communications will happen each Friday leading up to the workshop. Once 20 people have registered, Lake Champlain Sea Grant will form a waiting list and communicate to those placed on that waiting list each Friday as well.

Sponsored by Lake Champlain Sea Grant and the Lake Champlain Basin Program.
