Thank an educator!

This program is sponsored by the Center for Teaching & Learning, Writing in the Disciplines, and the Office of Community-Engaged Learning.

Dear Students,

Has anyone at UVM been especially helpful or had a positive influence on your experience? Is there someone you always turn to when you need support and assistance?

Thank an Educator! gives you the opportunity to acknowledge their impact and express your thanks (with optional anonymity). This person may be a professor, a TA, or a staff member who has in some way been exceptionally supportive or whose teaching helped shape your choice of major, career goals, or worldview.

If you would like to thank someone through this program, please complete the form below. It requires that you are logged in with your UVM NetID. Once you are logged in, you’ll see your name at the top of the form.

When writing your message of thanks, try to be as specific as you feel comfortable, because feedback is more meaningful when it contains details or a story. The person you’re thanking will receive your message after final grades are submitted, and you can choose whether that message is sent anonymously or with your name attached. Please submit your messages of thanks by May 5, 2024.

If you have questions or need help with the Thank an Educator form below, please email us at ctl@uvm.edu.

Thank you,
The Center for Teaching & Learning
